Regardless of the final standings...unfortunately the tournament will once again be in Gumpville, Alabama.
I wish we could just skip to the regionals.

Since I made this thread Sunday night, I've had a weird feeling we will still win the west. If A&M brings Dr. Jekyll this weekend rather than Mr. Hyde like they do too often, I think we "back into" the division title and a host spot. Auburn without Thompson is in trouble. Ryan Tella might be making his first career start on Saturday, and I don't think that will end well for the Eagles.

So since we know A&M will not sweep Ole Piss we gotta sweep the barners and hope for the best?

Pretty much. The reason I have hope is that it's at A&M.

Just added the below scenario for the Top 4, although I doubt finishing 3rd in the west would do any good for hosting purposes...

LSU sweeps and South Carolina/Vandy series does not involve a sweep either way

OR 2) LSU sweeps and A&M wins at least 2 games vs Bama

So if LSU sweeps AUB, A&M sweeps OM, Bama wins 2/3 against MSU does that make the top teams in the west
1.) LSU 17-11-1
2.) Ole Mis 17-13
3.) Miss State 17-13
4.) Alabama 16-13
5.) A&M 16-14
6.) Arkansas whocares
7.) Auburn 10-20
1.) LSU 17-11-1
2.) Ole Mis 17-13
3.) Miss State 17-13
4.) Alabama 16-13
5.) A&M 16-14
6.) Arkansas whocares
7.) Auburn 10-20

Your scenario is correct, but we don't even need that much help to be 1st due to about .002 of a percentage.
- LSU finishing 16-12-1 (.569) would be higher than Ole Miss or Miss State finishing 17-13 (.567)
- LSU finishing 17-11-1 (.603) would be higher than Ole Miss or Miss State finishing 18-12 (.600)
- LSU finishing 16-12-1 (.569) would be higher than Ole Miss or Miss State finishing 17-13 (.567)
- LSU finishing 17-11-1 (.603) would be higher than Ole Miss or Miss State finishing 18-12 (.600)

I'd just like to see the top 4 all have the same amount of wins and hear everyone complain.
