Why does everyone want a #1 seed? For bragging rights. It doesn't mean shite except you host a super.
Actually, being a #1 seed is probably the worst thing you want - up until the 2000s, there were no #1 seeds that won the title. And there's only been 1 or 2 since then.

in hawthorne's defense, it was an absolutely perfect throw from the centerfielder.

hanover still shouldn't have slid into first though. i really want to know why kids think they will get there faster sliding. whoever is coaching them to do that is wrong. you should never slide into first unless the throw is off target up the first base line

Hawthorne sucks. I am monitoring the game and he goes to commercial break without giving the score, every time!
