Water covers two-thirds of the world. The Tiger secondary covers the rest.

So far the combined effect of all 15+ yard pass plays against this secondary have been... punts. Give up 45 yards of field position and take possession of the ball.

Those numbers are stunning. Contain Tua and smother his receivers. LSU can win that game.

Damn. Elizabeth Warren has a better chance of becoming a Cherokee chieftain than opposing teams do of going deep on LSU.

in 2011 weren't there more interceptions than completions on passes of +20 yards?

I would like to see other schools numbers. For comparison.

ETA: Also that 1 TD was essentially garbage time and in a (completely poorly schemed) prevent defense.

It is amazing sometimes how these qb's have just thrown one up and their guy comes down with the ball. Luckily it hasn't hurt tigers except in florida game. Cant prevent every catch in reality.

The numbers are impressive but Fromm, Ta’amu, and Felipe all had opportunities and missed wide open receivers including some that would’ve walked in for a TD. Tua is on a different level than those guys. Saban is going to game plan to take what the D gives you.

Feels like 10 years ago when you saw an the other team throwing deep you knew it was either gonna be incomplete or intercepted.

Yeah, I'd like to see this data. Air yards attempted isn't easy to find.
