Judging at this elite level with the margins so razor-thin is always going to be questionable. It’s a shame, but I really don’t see an alternative unless you want to speculate on going down the AI route.

I agree that there’s not necessarily an alternative. It’s just frustrating when the last rotation typically ends up overscored, but there is one set of judges who are having none of it.

Another disappointing collapse when this was ours to win. Jay needs to figure this out and fast.

I’d have these girls max squatting 3-4 times this week so we can build up our glutes to stick our landings.

Horrible.

It was an off night, even Chio was fighting for her landings. When they are on, they can win the whole thing.

Florida had a great bars rotation, but a 49.8?? Somehow I can't see LSU getting a 49.8 in any rotation from these judges, no matter if they would have a similar rotation, especially the closing rotation. Even Oklahoma's overscoring wasn't enough to overcome Florida's bars. Speaking of their overscoring, how in the hell was Fatta's floor a 9.925 when she had a stumble and another odd movement in which the announcers commented on her wonky foot placement. Yet, amazingly two judges actually gave her a 10. TEN!!! Then she was followed by Wells 9.95 with the usual boring Oklahoma bread and butter floor. The Tigers didn't have their best night yet fell jus short of 198 and certainly didn't get any favors like Florida and Oklahoma seemed to get. It seems their biggest issues on the landings by the power girls get judged more harshly than other teams.

Can’t stand Rothleisberger and Pezek. They never shut up and favor OU blatantly. Poor Aly Raisman who is actually a great commentator, cannot get a word in edge wise

We have got to have a lead off that can score at least a 9.9 on beam because scores clearly build. Beam hurt us tonight

I think Amari is an amazing talent and yet consistently underscored. I’d love to see what they are deducting on her. Also think it would help a lot if she would smile

Our floor routines are SO MUCH better than theirs but we have got to be consistent

Not our best night on beam but we got to have gymnasts and routines capable of getting 9.90 in lead off and 2nd positions because scores build whether you like it or not

I think Jay has a tendency to favor certain gymnasts. But our problem is consistency

Its not about Chio, we know what we get every week

Drayton has to be much better in general

My point went way over your head.

I'm saying the supporting cast isn't enough to beat OU, Chio has to go superhuman in order to beat them.

Florida has really good bars but I think the main thing with OU and Florida is they didn’t give away tenths on dismounts.

Cowan and Blackson have had some dismount consistency issues. We can’t have our anchor on bars Konnor scoring in 9.7s. To me this is a roster construction issue because Konnor has had issues with her release skill all season. And it’s something they have to address this offseason because outside of the scoring issue her catching the bar so close all the time is a big risk for her to injure herself

This roster isn’t as strong as last couple years, but The team has had a good year all things considered. We lost so much from last year between Bryant, Finnegan, Ballard, kj etc. that’s a lot to replace in one offseason. I do think we haven’t been able to see the full potential of the team with key injuries to people like Brock, Wenner, Zoe Miller, Mustari, and Brinkman (who I was expecting to be a regular on vault). They still can win it all but it’s going to come down to hitting when it matters most. We won SECs last year and didn’t peak at nationals ended up going home earlier

What is all the hype about Lexi Zeiss? Seems to be always in the spotlight but inconsistent scores. We got to have 9.9’s

The hype is that she is a very consistent gymnast. she is a great leadoff just had a bobble on beam.
