Hopefully Bonvillain can get a ton of ground outs. They are a great hitting team hopefully they'll get desperate if we get a few more runs. .

To teach you guys a little baseball, another poster and I was agreeing on this earlier in the year.
With one out, the runner at second should be halfway on a deep fly ball if there is doubt that it might fall. If he is tagging, and it drops, you might not score (see Ibarra). If it falls you will definitely score. Getting to third with two outs is not as important as if the play happened with 0 outs. With two outs, you still need a hit to score you for the most part.

No, I mean like when (Foster I think) was running from 2nd to 3rd and the ball almost went through his feet. What happens if it touches him and the ball shoots back to the infield...nothing? Just live ball?

I didn't hear Ben pick Vandy. He said LSU was not as fast, Raph proved him right. He said LSU was better on defense, that circus inning by Vandy proved him right again.
