I agree. If I can't go to the game I sell them to LSU fans or do not sell them at all.

The problem with that is you don't have a choice when you sell the tickets on stub hub, ebay, etc.

I've had to sell 3 of my sets of 4 tickets to Bama games this year because I've been travelling for work. Each set of tickets brings in 500 bucks or more depending on the game (our home schedule stinks this year). I sold my tickets to a Kentucky fan on Ebay earlier this year because he won the bid. I wasn't trying to get an extra Kentucky fan in the stadium but it just worked out that way. It shouldn't ruin anyone's experience though.

We had obnoxious BAMA fans sitting in front of us with those chickens%#t Bear Bryant hats on. I ask them if they were aware that that "old drunk" had died years ago and they got furious...saying those hats were "tradition". Stupidity is what I called it. I also kept asking them who certain players were (by their numbers) like Arenas and Jones and they said they had NO idea. I harassed them the entire game for NOT being football fans. There were several of us who gave them a hard time. I can't imagine WHY the season ticket holders sold their tickets but you can trust me when I say, they will hear about it from now on!! I will NEVER let them forget it.

I have attended games religiously since I was 7 yrs old. I sold mine for the 1st time this week-as it was my Mom's Bday and an important time for my family. I had access to free Club seats but passed as well.

I put my EZ seats on Stubhub. They sold for $800, to an Alabama address. You can't control where they go.

I made a $700 profit.
I spent the morning and afternoon with my Dear Mum.
I watched the game on the tube.
My kids will have a nice XMAS.
Everybody wins.

By the way, when YOU start making my mortgage payments, you can tell me what to do with my property.

Also, please post a TRIBUTE to guys like me who GIVE AWAY tickets FOR FREE numerous times every year to the lesser games.

Also THANKS to all the Bama fans through the years (82,84,86,88,05) who have sold this TIGER fan tix outside THEIR stadium.

I can't even imagine this mindset. Its utterly juvenile, how a High Schooler might think.

People have priorities, family commitments, funerals, birthdays, weddings, t-ball games, soccer leagues, ailing parents, work assignments, AMEX bills, tuition notices, broken cars, divorces...any number of Big Boy stuff.

LSU football is PART of a well-balanced life.

I think that if you are a true fan you wouldn't be selling your tickets in the first place (unless you have extra). But if so, I think we should try to sell to LSU fans. My brother in law who sits next to me got extra tickets to the game and sold his for a decent profit to LSU fans. When he was selling them, some Bama fans came up to him and asked how much. His reply - LSU fans only. Priceless!!

Exactly. LSU had more fans inside B-D stadium last year than Bama had in TS last Saturday. Obviously, quite a few Bammers sold their tickets to Tiger fans.

Season ticket holders selling seats to Bama fans...
...I don't see the problem with that if you can make a lot of money off of the seats. I had previously been to every game this year only to be continually disappointed and disgusted so much that I have lost interest in this season. Not much to play for. I sold my two season tickets to a Bama fan on ebay for $600. I don't see what the problem is with selling your tickets if the team is playing awful.

Scumbag sellouts should have your season tickets revoked.

Not only a fan, but a fan that doesn't sell my team & fellow fans out to make a quick buck to the biggest game of the year..

Every occur to you guys that not only are you shafting your fellow fans, but one less LSU fan in the stadium means less crowd noise to help LSU Win.

This same issue arises occasionally at Bama but not often. I have a good friend who holds season tickets (in BDS) for 8 seats in the scholarship section (Section G), 50 yd line, 12 rows up.

People in that section will not sell to scalpers. They are asked not to sell to opposing fans unless they know them. However, it does happen occasionally.

If the surrounding ticket holders note repeated games where a seat is taken by opposing fans they report that seat to the AD who sends a letter to the ticket holder with a warning. If it persists, the seats are not renewed the following year.

The problem arises most often when a seat holder dies or becomes unable to attend games. Sometimes the seats are "inherited" by someone with no ties to The University. Those seats will not be renewed.

If you pay for season tickets and you have to sit next to opposing fans on a consistent basis, you should report that to the AD.

I don't see a problem with selling tickets but I'm shocked why you would sell your tickets to the biggest LSU game of the year. Yes, this is a down year for LSU but the Bama game was a great game.

My season seats are in the corner of the North Endzone. To my surprise two Alabama fans arrived and were sitting directly behind me. Besides the annoying chants of "pick 6, pick 6" they were pretty cool. They did a few Bama cheers but nothing that was annoying. They mainly talked football the entire game and were honest about Bama having a weak schedule and being alittle over rated. One actually gave me a high five after Byrd's touchdown catch.

I didn't expect any issues from the Bama fans and they got along great with everyone in my section last saturday. I sat in the Bama fans section, with my LSU shirt on, two years in a row in Shreveport for the Independence Bowl. I never had a problem. When they would ask who I was pulling for I would state: The SEC.

no the atmosphere sucks cause we have taken some of the seats that rightfully belong to the students away from them.
