And then all the posts about the depth we have, we'll be OK. Who cares at that point? I know this is an LSU fan site, and I'm as big an LSU fan as you'll find. But when it's something like this, I'm more concerned about the kid's health than the depth issues of the receiving corps in his absence. That's like saying "thank goodness we weren't counting on Chad Jones for this year". Pitiful.

So if he's going to claim insider info (that no one else posting apparently knows) I don't think it is out-of-line for someone to request him to substantiate his claim. Why would that seem unreasonable?

I mean if you don't like it RA. But shite like that would have a secondary effect of reducing the number of people with actual sources from posting information.
If you think it is BS, ignore it.
People who post fake info from fake sources only do so for the attention it brings them. If it turns out to be bullshite, those posters tend to disappear.

None of it matters. Either he is out or he isn't. No one will get "proof" until tomorrow. Don't know why people come here and claim insider info, because of the ridicule they get. Interestingly, the ridicule ten times the kudos they get if their "insider infor" turns out to be correct. Too many posters on this board are nasty, hateful people who would rather tear someone down than give anyone credit.

Thanks, but I am certain I blew it out of proportion for the aforementioned reasons. Just a ridiculous amount of crap on here to sort thru to find any real info. But again, I do appreciate the real info that is available here...and should've just blown it off.

Is he telling the truth? I don't know. . .and based on my long experiences with the Rant, likely not. But the attacks on the guy are as unfounded as the claim could be.
If the claim turns out to be accurate, Fishead is going to look really bad. I was merely trying to save him from that possibility.

It appears to me that Miles has made practices and scrimmages a lot more physical. I wonder if that has something to do with losing some games in the 4th quarter. Conditioning plus just being more physical.
Also, when Miles said the offensive line didn't start the scrimmage off too good but they corrected the problem and they did ok the rest of the scrimmage...I'm not concerned about the OL not starting off well, I'm just glad someone is noticing when they are not playing well and making the corrections. That, for me, is a sign of coaching improvement, particularly for the OL.
I have the feeling the secondary is going to put a few receivers in the hospital this year. They seem to be on a mission to demolish anyone who comes into their area of play.
