Anyone that has watched a football game would understand that completion rates in the red zone go down.

Not alot of football games, not even a few, but A football game.

My wife understands the concept. She's seen more than one football game, but she's still a woman.

But hey, it's never too early to hit the panic button!

People just kept moving ahead of CT on the roster. Hes only a RS Sophomore but a head injury that puts you out for the season must be serious...

Major concussion. Probably will be a medical hardship like Williams got.

I agree we should be praying for the kid. I hope that is not the case and someone really shouldn't post something like that if it is bullshite.

I saw it on the local news at 6. They said it was a severe concussion and that he possibly could be out for the season.

i dont see how anyone could say it was season ending at this point ( if so it would have to have been pretty fricking horrific )

With all the focus on football concussions I think it's safe to assume everyone will be uber conservative.

Chris Tolliver is out for the season.

Guess we know who Loston made the "significant" contact with. Kind of reminiscent of when he played the the All-American (I think) game with Shepard and he belted Shepard off his feet out of bounds. I just kept saying "he did that to his cousin, I feel sorry for the guy he doesn't like". Today, I still feel sorry for our opponents.

If we really lost Downs and Tolliver today, the scrimmage was a disaster.

i agree that sucks for ct, if its a season ending head injury then it has to be pretty serious. serious enough to probably cause long term problems. my prayers are with him..so the rotation now looks like this

tt
rr
shep
boone
wright

Hopefully Davenport is ready to step up and make some plays on the inside.

I hate it for CT, but I don't think it hurts us too bad.

Chris didn't look great last year, I hoped he would look better this season.

+1. Out for the season with a concussion. Any doctors in the house. What type of injury does Josh have? And what is the purpose of posting the quarterbacks stats as one instead of individual?

thought there was a post that he landed on his head...I hope Loston isn't going head to head, especially during a scrimmage

Pretty much but I would expect to see D. Peterson splitting out more for 4 wide. Wouldn't doubt they use more RBs lined up wide too. They'll probably burn a RS on either Boone/Wright unless they're both forced to play with more injuries.

to keep fans from over-reacting to situational scrimmages

clutch.

I would hope that they have both QB's focusing on a specific deficiency set, which would lead to a deceptive discrepancy in #'s.

i.e. if they have JL working on full progressions and reads, and JJ working on quick reads.
