Found this gem looking for some of LF's highlights from UF game last year. I got sucked into this...my head hurts now.

Matt Waldman is a great scout. He was right about everything he said. I can't wait for him to do a video for Fournette this season.

He wasn't special last year. He is this year.
Waldman usually does videos on draft-eligible players so the Fournette video was an exception. Obviously Fournette has come a very long way since the Florida game.

When you say a guy isn't special...you are making a declarative statement about his ability. You don't say, he's not special right now.
You might make the comment that it was dumb of him to make that call so early in Fournette's career, but make not mistake, Fournette was special. Waldon wasn't able to identify that.

He was very good but you're using the word special. He wasn't anything like he is this year.
I don't care what you say or what you think of the evaluation. He developed throughout the year but he was a far cry from what people said he would be as a freshman. This year he's progressed much more. As I said, Waldman normally looks at draft-eligible players and said what he was if he were draft-eligible. Obviously things have changed.

Admit he was wrong? About Fournette not being special? The video came out before this season. There was talk of Leonard winning the fricking heisman as a freshman so it was a far cry from "special"

Matt Waldman is a huge douche who is envious of LF#7, explain 1000 yards as a freshman in the SEC. explain 600+ in 3 games this year, 2 of those games against SEC west RANKED opponents.

Look at how many carries he had last year and see how many he is getting this year. I think if he had the same load then he would of put up similar numbers last year.
