2 weeks ago we had the 3rd highest assistant pay in country in Chavis.... This week we won't keep that mantra.... Sounds legit

If this is true, then we might as well bow down to our Aggie overlords as we are not spending the money necessary to compete anymore.
If it's true, they've already got someone interested who will take the job if Chavis bolts and believe it's a good move. Losing Chavis right now could be a disaster for recruiting unless they have someone who's a home run hire.

He probably wants to play for a team where the offense doesn't gets a 3 and almost every drive and keeps the defense on the field 75% of the time.

The rant bitches that we won't pay our coaches enough.

Holy frick if this is true Alleva needs to be fired if Chavis leaves. You bow down in negotiations like a pussy to all the coaches who don't deserve raises but the one guy we can't lose you don't give a few hundred k raise? Yeah, not even Alleva is this stupid with the highest paid staff.
If he leaves and we hire Bo Pelini holy shite I'll lose it. I don't think I can take watching his 215lb safeties sitting in the Dime/Nickel CB slots to stop the run on pass downs.

I don't believe i have ever read a single reasonable post about Chavis being over-paid.

That doesn't sound good at all. I hope Chavis stays. I really do.
