2 weeks ago we had the 3rd highest assistant pay in country in Chavis.... This week we won't keep that mantra.... Sounds legit

If it's true, they've already got someone interested who will take the job if Chavis bolts and believe it's a good move. Losing Chavis right now could be a disaster for recruiting unless they have someone who's a home run hire.

Holy frick if this is true Alleva needs to be fired if Chavis leaves. You bow down in negotiations like a pussy to all the coaches who don't deserve raises but the one guy we can't lose you don't give a few hundred k raise? Yeah, not even Alleva is this stupid with the highest paid staff.

If he leaves and we hire Bo Pelini holy shite I'll lose it. I don't think I can take watching his 215lb safeties sitting in the Dime/Nickel CB slots to stop the run on pass downs.
