Now that's funny. Where are these "FACTS" you speak of? Are you going to be like the other genius and say "well he sat out a year between USC and LSU"?

can people stop bitching about every lsu coach and every little thing that happens?

Generally speaking, probably not. There are plenty of bitches on here. I've defended Mainieri basically all year. Defended Miles until he became completely indefensible. I'm not the kind to rip on every coach for any reason and I'm fairly certain people are ripping on Alleva for hiring O, not ripping O for taking the job. There are clear, objective reasons to be apprehensive about the Orgeron hire long term. I'm sorry you don't get that. Nothing against him personally

Because Smith is transferring does not mean it's bad on O's part. Kids transfer like crazy this year. Maybe he was told he would be a starter by Year 2, and Greedy/Fulton have passed him and he's 4th or 5th on the depth chart. Most these 5-stars come in expecting to leave by their 3rd year.

There are also reasons to be positive about his hiring..

I hate this. He is 2nd depth chart going into summer. Could have played a ton and started some games by bowl game. Certainly would have had chances in next three years.

Dudes worry too much about what their friends say.

I see you're angry and taking a personal interest in my posts so answer the question...

If Ed Orgeron was from Gary, Indiana, would he be head coach of LSU right now?

Largely this, but his bullshite PR campaign to get the job pissed me off (he's not a Cajun, he was vocally against LSU for decades, and he was/is a drunk with a restraining order against him).

so calling him an ignorant coonass

I've never done that. I saw one poster say that the only people excited about the hire are ignorant coonasses. Which I don't really agree with and I'm pretty sure he was just trying to get a rise out of people. And it worked

So did he get the job based on his resume' or because of the emotional factor of him being from Louisiana?

When is the last time a head coach was fired and a position coach from the same staff was promoted to permanent head coach? Hell, when has it happened that a coordinator was promoted?

The search was LAZY. Based on his resume', he is unqualified for the job.

Yet, the negatards are panicking!

Dude, they are not panicking. You nailed it in the first sentence of your post when you said "Savion finally gave them something to bitch about". Not that they needed a reason but this certainly gave them ammunition. They won't acknowledge the fact that LSU has 3 transfers coming in, they don't care, they just want to shite on the LSU head coach.

Even if Saivion transferring can possibly be blamed on coaches at LSU. The head coach is not the one who can even be blamed in this situation. I would look at his position coach first the DC second. This is just the mindset of the Tards showing through.

There's so much more involved. But I'm not going to entertain that in this thread... start a new thread with that title and I'll engage you in there..

This thread is about SS, not coach O
