Why, they have both had good starts, but hilliard has had more lately

Labas looked reset after 2 weeks off. He had a quality start 7 out of his first 10 games leading up to that complete game against ole miss.

Labas in an if necessary game is insane after what he just did vs Gonzaga

In a 3 game winner takes all, play each game like its your last.

There's plenty of time to rest before the CWS.

I think its more because he just threw 120 last sunday, and hilliard didnt

Hilliard's work load looks perfect for Saturday. He threw 65 last Saturday, then basically threw a bullpen and 4 live hitters on Monday.

The more I look at Landon's work load, the more I hate it. He's a bulldog, though.

He is. And it sucks he had to do that, but it is what it is now, and maybe he can still put up a decent performance sunday, maybe

I think

GM1 Labas
GM2 Marceaux
GM3 Hillard or Coleman

Gotta be Hilliard to start game 3. He hasn't been as good out of the bullpen.

I'd have no problem flipping games 1 and 3 though. Marceaux on Sunday no matter what though.

If he pitches game 1 then maybe you can get him in an inning in game 3 ,like we did with Hilliard. Hilliard pitched that inning on 2 days rest...especially if he goes 6 or less

Would rather that, him on a normal schedule than a guy who started twice in two days & wasn’t nearly as effective.
