Gray you have absolutely no business telling anyone to stop being negative.....you're one of the the MOST negative posters on this site.

I've read many of your horseshite posts and I've never responded to any of them because it wasn't even worth trying to argue with your brand of hostility. All you do is try to slam anyone who disagrees with you or takes a shot at your God. According you and your "ilk," CLM can do no wrong. Great, your entitled to that opinion....just like I'm entitled to disagree when I choose.

I notice a lot of your kind hide behind the 1st amendment when defending STTDB and other issues that further your agenda, but then turn around and body slam anybody who dares to disagree........ ....what a fking hypocrite....and once more, to ignorant to even realize it.

I get it though, you can say what you want.....but others can't. By the way, when was the last time Miles said in a post-game interview that the negativity on the The Rant definitely played a factor in the loss....get back to me with a link on that one when ya have the time.
Of course, I realize you and your brethren are too busy psycho-analyzing my level of misery in my personal life to find any time to show the connection....it's cool though. If it helps you sleep at night....
You also seem to have deciphered how much sports I've played or coached in my life just by looking at my posts. That's amazing!!! I'm sure the military or the CIA could use your intuitive powers in some way. Check in to that dude.

Telling others their negative in negative way does not equal a positive.

Look in the mirror man....take a good look....you're not being part of the solution either.

Sorry to hear about your miserable personal life.

Try being more upbeat and positive. It works wonders for a person in misery.

Way too snatch that one little phrase and play to it out of context.
How do you and gray know that I'm not all the time? Are you fking psychic or what?
I'm negative in my life because of what I post on a message board??
You can't be serious! Please don't buy into this BS with all the others. Think of yourself as better than that.

Then GO ROOT FOR ANOTHER TEAM. I am sure Grambling, Georgia, Florida etc.... all have season tickets available. You sound like one miserable piece of work. Get a life and try to relax dude. Damn.

Then prove me wrong you piece of shite instead of trying to bash my life. That's how all you idiots work on this board. Can't fight the facts so bring up shite about someone personally. I can't help that you are happy with the new norm and I am not. Is it really my fault that I expect more out of a coach than what he has produced the past two years? Or, is it my fault that next year doesn't look like its going to be any better? No, its the man getting paid 4million a year to put the product on the field. I am not happy with three losses a year, if you are then that is your way of life. The fact that you have to state the pitfalls of other teams to make your feel better about the past two years is content for mediocrity in itself. I love my LSU and will continue to support them like my family has since my grandfather attended the school in the 1930's. Just because I see fault with the current status of the program doesn't mean I hate LSU.

Look at the history of great achievers. They tend to be positive. Look at the losers you know in your life, I'll bet they tend to be negative about almost everything.

Maybe you should look at history also. Being positive or negative has never equated to success or loss. Success in life comes from hard work, dedication, LEARNING FROM YOUR MISTAKES, adjusting to your surroundings and striving to reach your goals without being satisfied for anything less. I hate to bring him up, but look at Nick Saban, would you say he is positive all the time. How about Bill Belichick? I don't see them as being more positive than negative, they just achieve through finding the negatives produced and work on them until they become positives. I know tons of assholes that are negative in life and are very successful. Your attitude means shite as long as you strive for your goals.

redtigerrulz, compassion.

our parents taught us how to treat them.
our parents taught us how to treat others.
our parents taught us how to treat ourselves.

socrates said a life unexamined is not worth living. shakespear wrote to thine ownself be true.
we are a reflection of our training. your demonstration on negative judgement is really a reflection of how you feel about yourself.
yes, it is easy for us oldtimers to read your low self esteem. you come on this board to bully and yet you also come to learn.

maturity gives wisdom. young people know everything ... until life kicks them in the teeth.
then they learn compassion and positive reinforcement.

your attitude demonstrates a very sad childhood. for that, i have compassion for you.

this board is filled w/ negative people, which gives me more gratitude (and generosity) for the wonderful life i live.

we only see with what we can see with. until you understand your life, you will always see with negativity.

happy thanksgiving!

Give me a fricking break with the whining.

You are acting like LSU has fallen apart when in reality they won the west in 2011, were a minute away from winning the west in 2012, just knocked off a top 10 team with Johnny football at QB, and have a good shot at having their sixth ten win season in their last eight seasons.

LSU was 12 in the nation last year, is 15th in the nation now, and with two more wins they will end up close to or in the top 10.

There is no mediocrity in LSU football whether you want to see it that way or not.

I am assuming that you are pretty young.

Attitude is a key element in success. The two men you mentioned got where they are not because they are constantly negative, but because they have a positive attitude that things are NOT always bad and that good things can and will happen.

quote:

they just achieve through finding the negatives produced and work on them until they become positives.

The key is seeing the positive in any situation and working to expand it.

quote:

I know tons of assholes that are negative in life and are very successful.

I regret your unhappy experience. Mine is different. I have never seen a consistently negative person reach the upper levels of either the military or business. Those that always see only the negatives tend to level out in their careers into some mid level frustratingly empty situation.

The positive thinkers seem to rise to the top. They weren't Pollyanas. The saw problems but didn't dwell on them. The quietly recognized the problems and went to work solving them instead of constantly bitching and crying about how bad everything is.
