My only concern is how much the events of the past week has altered the preparation of this team for the first game!!
Off field distractions are never a good thing nor a lack of focus for a team with so many new players trying to gel and come together. So could be a problem!
I am sure Lane had a plan to address or mitigate the issue

The players will be focus on the game just like professional players.
Anyway, after the first series, it's all about playing football.
