Hmmm.... Personally, I don't see anything wrong with it. He went a bit overboard, he could've closed practiced to the media, he didn't so don't flip out when the media gets there. Maybe they just weren't respecting his personal space or something.

I got it now. Not a big deal. Seems like they just weren't respecting his space and team.
Like the other poster said, he was just protecting his team, not a dick move.

Even though Sarkisian appears to be the a-hole here, I am going to take his side here. It is fairly common knowledge that Friday football walk-thrus are closed to the media. It is clear that the reporter did not follow the proper protocol in procuring the interview...namely going through the Washington SID. The reporter should have known he wasn't welcome there.

I've never heard of Sark going off like this on anyone before. To be honest, he's a pretty mellow coach. There must have been some massive breach of protocol or something else for Sark to do what he apparently did.
