The legal ramifications if he does go through with this are defcon 1 type chit. Any lawyer worth their salt will be falling over themselves to represent LSU. The evidence of selective enforcement of rules, corporate malfeasance, breach of contract, Defamation and possibly racketeering is very significant. Evidence is there to show LSU hasnt dont anything illegal or against the rules. However there is overwhelming evidence that Ole Miss and Bama violated rules and TROS of both the NCAA without as so much a slap on the wrist. How does the SEC reconcile that with accusing LSU of LOIC when we have not rostered the players nor violated any rules of the SEC? The short answer is they cant. So the case will be thrown out on merit and the SEC will be lucky it isnt sued for legal fees and defamation/libel. The courts look down on selective enforcement and ignoring legal precedent. The SEC isnt just thumbing itst nose at LSU its doing it to State and its courts as well. Do they really want to open themselves to discovery as well as the other SEC schools?
