Same thing every game

We have a coach that is a great recruiter, but not a game coach.
he needs some one on the bench with him that knows X and O basketball. the team looks like its tired. They home court foul calls don't help. Someone needs to lite a fire under theses guys.

We crashed the board a bunch, you mustve not watched. We also went inside to our bigs alot. We rebounded well. You probably didnt watch or didnt know what you were watching. And none of that has to do wit x's and o's

We can't play zone or man on the defensive end. Instead of moving out feet and staying front of our man, we leave our feet on every pump fake, we reach and try to block everything. We do not box out even on ft's. teams get to the line almost twice as much as us.
on offense we are ok against man, but we have clue how to beat a good zone. We take quick bad shots and telegraph way to many passes. JOB does a poor job of finishing.
We have 3 nba guys on our roster, but can't beat poor teams on the road.
Coaching is the problem. Give a good coaching staff this talent and we are easily in the tourney.

We do try to block too many shots and foul too much. Move your feet....our small guards hurt us too. That ends next year.

I agree. You give 9-10 other SEC coaching staffs this team, and they make the NCAAT. The conundrum is though could those staffs sign the players this on does? CJJ has got to find the medium between great recruiting success and poor on-court results

What game were you watching? In fact, have you watched this team at ALL this year? Most inconsistent basketball team in the country!

The same thing I see every game is that we can't shoot. This is compounded by the fact that the opponents get wide open jump shots all night long. Also goes back to our small guards - too small to get a hand in the face of the guys shooting over the zone. You can take up for Stringer and Hickey all you want, but we need to stop recruiting these 5-10 guards.

Mickey and martin start, both are freshmen. The other 3 were not recruited by our coach. Deal with it.

our D is atrocious no matter if we are zone or man the last 5 games or so. We go for blocks so there's no one there to rebound. All of our problems are on the defensive end. Need to close out on 3 point shooters. Teams that shoot poorly like A&M and UGA killed us

Yep. Coaching is the reason we absolutely threw the ball away today. Stupid, stupid turnovers.
