You ever share a cigar with a guy before?

He probably decided to just take some plays off and it caught up with him.

but his story is incredibly suspicious

And the facts are what? What you've been told by the team that released him to the degree that he felt it was necessary to make public a voluntary drug test? Forgive me for not wanting to believe everything an NFL franchise tells me.

And FTR, I think he probably was on the cheeba, but I dont trust ESPN or NFL Franchises. So until I hear it from a source, that doesn't cite either of those I will continue to be skeptical.

Either way they are guilty of smoking up a non smoking room. Worthy of termination IMO.

I don't know, but his camp's explanation doesn't add up IMO.

I base it off his explanation and my knowledge of how some NFL players are, not what the team said.

Again, not about what they said.

Do you personally know NFL players?

Drug tests for marijuana have almost zero informational value if they come back negative. The shampoo is too easy to get, piss is easy to get, etc. I neither believe nor disbelieve Sam, but that drug test is meaningless.

I think kubiak just plain didn't like Sam and his work ethic and saw a chance to get rid of him.

It's kinda telling that kubiak forgives steroids users that can tackle and welcomes them back, but let's go of a guy for pot.

Wow, rarely is it true that people are just "at the wrong place, at the wrong time". Nonetheless, I would guess that Sam's work ethic hasn't been great anyway for them just to cut a 3rd round pick. Could be a nice get for some team.

This is not isolated with the Texans.

Why do you think so many talented athletes have no fear of repercussions? It is because they have never had any.

Is that really that big of a deal? Living in a city with a pro team and living in a decent neighborhood makes it not too hard to live around players.

Montgomery would have some balls to voluntarily take a drug test just to cheat on it.

The Texans didn't need an excuse to cut him, and the fact that they used weed as an excuse shows how dumb that franchise is.

And these NFL players walk around the neighborhood telling stories of their pot use?

I personally don't care if you do or don't, but you wouldn't admit it if you didn't because that would imply that you have absolutely no perspective on NFL players therefore your argument would be baseless.
