I'm not defending Harris and Hampton as they have not played well but the coaches must think they are our best options.
I don't know what happened to Harris because before his early season ending injury in 2019, he seemed to play pretty well.

I think hampton has it and need to be in a lot. But toles need a shot. Hampton may have taken this off season off thinking he had the position on lock and is now behind

No he didn’t. Texas abused him. He got hurt the following week I believe.

What about McGlothern? Is he strictly a CB? He's got good size and he looked impressive in that high school all star game when he committed. Why not cycle through Toles and McGlothern?
