In the spirit of kindness. give him a peace offering. Little Debbies laced with PCP.

This is technically his second return(2005 Saints vs. Dolphins, Tiger Stadium, but his first against LSU
I say boo him just like we would any other opposing coach.

It will probably be the loudest BOOing in Tiger Stadium history.
The idea of cheering him to catch him off guard is stupid because it is the whole Bama team running out on the field.
I just hope there is no pick six from Jarret Lee or any other LSU quaterback. My hope is it is JPW.

Anyone who thinks Saban cares about the LSU fans and what he done here is in denial.
He made fun of our culture the minute he stepped in Alabama.. Boo the frick out of him.

I'd leave him alone and be more concerned about how we are going to keep from getting our asses handed to us by that team next week. If these boys are going to have a chance in hell of winning, they are really going to have to come up with a higher level of playing on a more consistent basis in contrast to what I have seen thus far.

Oh... how little self-respect some people have.
We cheered Nick Saban like no other figure in LSU football history. We praised him, paid him and prayed to him. We believed everything he said to us like it was law. We did anything Nick desired... catered to his every whim. We loved him more than any other person ever to wear the purple and gold... and don't even try to argue that point. Half of you would have trampled Charlie Maclendon's corpse to lick Saban's boots, and you know it.
And what did this great outpouring of love and affection earn all of us, when it really counted?
He left us for another team. An NFL team, I'll give you that... but he took a look at all we offered him and gave to him, and effectively told us we weren't good enough for him.
And you want to cheer this motherfricker when he comes to Tiger Stadium?
Are you kidding me?
What, exactly, would your cheer accomplish? He didn't appreciate your cheering when he was here. What makes you think he will appreciate it now?
Do you still hope, perhaps, that he will deign to nod in your direction? Perhaps you have a fantasy that he will thank you personally for all the loyalty you've shown him?
As if.
He cares nothing for LSU, and he returns to attempt to defeat LSU before all the world on Saturday.
If that's not enough to make you boo the man, then I don't know what the hell is the matter with you.
There are times in life when you need to pick a side, and stand with your people. If you want to be a spineless Saban asskisser, fine. That's your choice, and you're free to make it. Just like Saban himself did. Just don't go around claiming that you "bleed purple and gold" after you do it. You can't have it both ways.
If you are an LSU fan, and you cheer for someone opposing LSU, there's something wrong with you, regardless of whether it's Nick Saban or not.
The fact that it IS Nick Saban just makes it worse.

I don't think we should treat him any differently than any other coach that comes in!!! He's been gone for 3 1/2 years...get over it people! Is he a great coach??? Absolutely! Do we have a great coach??? Absolutely!

Im thankful for what he did, but you know what, he's wearing Crimson...not purple and gold. Boo his arse.
Posted on 11/2/08 at 12:05 am to Coach Guidry
SHOULD cheer for his entrance and then give him hell from the first kickoff till the end of his career.
Reality is fans will BOO him and Miles

You mean leave for the chance any coach would dream of? Complete control of an NFL team comes very rare. And believe me you and I don't know what tight arse arrogant Skip said in his negotiation with Saban in attempt to keep him.

Are you serious? I call people coonasses, does that mean I don't love my homestate
Fact: The guy would have NEVER left LSU for another college. Period.
It's unfortunate the way it all played out, but it happened.
I just hope Saban sells out just one more time. Penn State. I hate to have him in the SEC.

We'll cheer Saban because we're too busy booing OUR OWN QB! LSU fans suck this year.
