I still think it would be awesome if we could get everyone to NOT boo and just be DEAD SILENT.

I think it shows a certain level of respect, but it also means business.
If you could get 93,000 fans on the same page for that, it would be EPIC.

I like this idea as well. TV will show shots of the Bama fans going nuts and LSU fans just standing there with no emotion. (I think turning our backs would be extemely cool for the broadcast. Maybe the "Silence for Saban" shirts earlier mentioned on the back or something)

me and my friend at work were talking about it.

I think the silence or reading the newspapers would be really cool - but I think Bama will F it all up and come out while LSU is running out the tunnel too.

I'd say the most likely way for any of these ideas to actually happen would involve promoting it to the media (The Advocate, The Reveille) and getting LSU's student government on board. The student section will likely be the hardest part of getting everyone silent, so getting SG on the same page could get some promotion of the idea going within the student body. These things would need to get going by the time the season starts though.

it is a great idea but all that publicity would definetely get to bama then it wouldnt have the same effect.

I would welcome Saban back for the 20 year reunion of the team and I would hope he would come back at that point and be given his proper due although it looks like at this point Miles will garner more respect if he stays long term at LSU.

In my experiences the students respect and know what Saban did for us. Its the dumbass old hick majority of LSU fans that would boo.
