Anything else?

My point is that by the fourth season wasn't the majority of the team Saban recruits and if he is truly the Messiah as evidently some believe how could he have lost 3 games?

Reasonable to say they were very close to a 1 loss season. Quite a bit different than this season.

Really?

The Bama refs. were a joke and the Ole Miss game was a fluke loss (there were 3 seconds left when the receiver hit the ground).

Reasonable to say they were very close to a 1 loss regular season team.

After winning the 1st NC in 45 years, you'd think people would cut the guy some slack. But after getting blown out by UGA, and starting 3-2 (1-2 in SEC) there WERE idiots complaining.

And for all the people who say Miles "won w/ Saban's players", Nick Saban went 9-3 with Nick Saban's players. Les Miles won 11 games the next year under less than ideal circumstances.

Freaking Marcus Randall and freshman Russell as QB's. Amazing we only lost 3.

We beat Alabama, Ole Miss, and Arkansas in succession.

Keep in mind that Alabama, Ole Miss, and Arkansas were all jokes that season.

Got me there, Sport. I think their combined SEC record was less than 50 percent in 2004, which is certainly worse than our even 50 percent over the last two years. So, I guess we're about where they were 5 years ago. Meanwhile...Bama is like 25 and 1 in the last two years and Ole Miss has beaten us twice and but for great play in overtime Arkansas would have beaten us three times is a row.

Explain why you think that Jarret Lee could take us within field goal range had we got that interception. Explain to us why the La Tech game as so close even if QB sucked. Explain to us why we needed a goal line stand to win against MSU. Explain to us the why the Vandy game was not decided till the 4th quarter. Explain to us why your a dumbass.

Bama game wasn't lost on one play and bad officiating. It was lost by 9 points and we aren't even having a stupid discussion on that INT if Les doesn't call a punt block that results in a penalty giving Bama a first down.

Alabama, Ole Miss and Arky were all about equivalent to teams we struggled with this year in UGA, Auburn, and Arkansas.

As others said, we had a QB controversy that year, and won AT UF.

We struggled early against OSU, but that was a crazy game to begin with.

Our last loss against Iowa was on a hailmary when the team and particularly Saban weren't putting in their all.

Explain the 2004 season.

I forgot that the SEC was littered with NC caliber coaching back then too. I mean a last second win against a Ron Zook led Gator team is so frickin great. Shoulda lost to Oregon St., that's ok too. RamRodded by a decent UGa team, we don't mind now. Shitty time management and even worse defensive play call to end a painful last second loss to IOWA, let the excuses flow. Blew out Mississippi St., yea! Vandy game, wow. Three point win over a coach on his last legs vs Ole Miss, it was ok to lose to them 2 out of 4 years back then. Scruggled with the second year Bama coach Shula, I mean he was a Shula, no shame there.
The loss to Auburn in '04 is a lot like the loss there in '06, but Les takes a ton of shite for that one.

Fricking bi-polar, emotional and irrational loser fans suck.

Your excuses for the '04 season are so weak.

Hey maybe JL doesnt....but all it takes is one play, one blown coverage and a lob pass to lafell toliver or Randle...who knows but that chance was taken away if that happens its a completely differnet game maybe season...Im not complaining but you said it...also explain sabans Troy game I know the qb sucked but explain why that was so close....I agree Miles has his faults and Im not a huge backer but your arguments arent very good

What does this mean? Arkansas missed a field goal to send it to a 2nd overtime. Where's the great play?

Its funny, because I lived in DC then and watched the game with auburn, ga and other sec fans in crystal city. They all said after the season that man you guys had a bad season. Face it man, miles is not living up to what you wanted when he was hired.
