If he gets a pass for taking the Bama job because it was a professional decision, I can have a pass for hating Bama... professionally.

Any chance some of the 2003 guys could suit up and play? We could really use Spears, Alexander, Webster, Daniels, Hunt, Lavalais...we could use all of them.

I know he wasn't on the 2003 team, but I'd like to see Fred Booker back roaming in the secondary.

Leaving is one thing. Leaving for another job, failing, and then taking a job at a hated school in the same division is another.

The praise we had for Saban, he earned. The hatred we have for Saban was earned entirely by Saban. The Nick Saban we knew and loved died the minute he signed the dotted line at Tuscaloosa.

The problem I have with the Saban hate is that every single person on this site would do the exact same thing in their profession and not bat an eye at it. It's a double friggin standard.

He left one job for a major step up job in the best company in the industry he's in. Then that did not work out.

So he wanted to return back to his older company but there wasn't a position for him, so he went to work for another in the same industry.

The fact that Louisianans generally act like little-dick, insecure people is highlighted in his hatred.

Well speak for yourself but in my career I have refused to directly do things that would hurt the people that have helped me along the way. I could have taken business from a colleague that has helped me but refuse to. Find other avenues to be successful.

No matter the reason that he took the Alabama job, he still took the Alabama job. And for that, he deserves all hatred we can possibly provide. I wish him, and every coach of every Alabama team until the end of time, the worst.

Righteous! He has earned every ounce of our hatred.

Me thinks, this is "self projection". Wow! You lump all people from Louisiana in that category? Most people from Louisiana are fun loving and generous. Maybe you're the one with some hatred issues.

Also, this is sports hatred and is permissible. Don't take too seriously some of us taking too seriously our hatred of Saban and Bama. I don't lose any sleep over it.
