He played TWO posessions and you don't really think Saban didn't plan for JJ any?
The difference was Saban had 40 days to worry about ONE team and player....and LSU did not have a back-up plan.

JL....JJ.......would not have mattered

Congratulations, LSU, on a tremendous season.

Saban's team quit at their own house against Auburn last year

And quit in OT vs. LSU This year as well
Losing/blowing leads does not = quiting.
LSU was down 15 in the 4th and ran 10 strait times, including a 3rd and 3 handoff to the FB (that is a converted DL) when you have 4 4/5* RB's, (all of whom would get carries for any team in the country), that's quitting.
Look at the 2009 LSU-Bama game, they were much better, our QB got knocked out, our top RB got knocked out, we got shafted on a INT, but still keep fighting. Didn't look like that Monday. The D played well and eventually wore down, but over all the team didn't have it.

I am 100% ready and committed to bitching about everything under the sun regarding Miles, the program, the turf, the broken windows, the team bus, recruiting efforts, etc........I am in this.

Jeebus.
This is why you people are despised. LOL. Seriously. Was that necessary?
Never mind. You are a Bama fan. This is your nature.

Wrong, EZE - tremendous amount of respect for you guys, as I've said on here before. Auburn is different. You don't understand this rivalry bc you don't have anything like it in your state. That guy just called Saban and our whole program dirty and you give him a pass, but I say something about Cam and that's "my nature." Please.
Still respect the real Tigers though, even if you're defending your f-chop cousins in Lee County.

Sorry, but I disagree. LM screwed the pooch from here to Sunday with that joke of a game Monday night. Granted LSU got jobbed having to play the gumps again, but what happened in the Dome Monday has no explanation other than idiocy on the part of the STAFF unless one accepts that the other 13 wins were all flukes.

There was one time last when we ran a reverse with a fricking TE. Not RS or Randle or Tolliver or giving it to a back. A fricking TE.
The element of suprise should NEVER be used. EVER.

Saban is making us quit quote: I believe its three national titles to one...... And who paid Saban's paycheck for that first one? LSU did. Who paid for the facilities he asked us to build. Uh-huh. That's right we did. Not Nick. That 2003 title is OURS, not Bama's. I wish they'd quit claiming it. By the way, Saban won the 2009 title with Mike Shula's recruits, so I guess that one shouldn't count for Saban. (2007--Miles's third year at LSU; 2009--Saban's third year at Bama) And our coach didn't have to go on TV while two OTHER schools were playing for the SEC championship to beg for a spot in the NCG using our success and his team's loss to us as the only rationale for being in the game. I love how Bama repeatedly uses our success this century as an argument to bolster their own. That being said, a ridiculous post from the OP. Nick Saban has had nothing to do with LSU since 2005. I didn't see our team quit in 2007 or in 2010 or on 11/5/11.
good stuff

Would everybody quit with the nonsense?
Saban came into the national spotlight after LSU hired him. The ENTIRE Bama nation mocked LSU back then for hiring a Yankee. They had no respect for Saban.
Then after Saban and LSU won the NC in 2003, Bama realized that they were totally wrong, and they started to envy LSU.
Yeah, Saban is at Bama now, and he is the best coach in college football. But let's not pretend that Bama made some kind of a genius move by hiring Saban. It was obvious in 2006 that Saban was a talented coach that would bring Bama back.
Bama is VERY LUCKY about the way that it all went down.
PS The NCs that were won belong to the school and coach who won them at the time they were won.

quiters quit, winners never quit. since the new year began I've seen Louisiana's best player commit to the arch rival, my dog get shot in the penis and back of head, LSU lose to the gumps in perhaps the most important games in LSU history and my business perform just about as badly as it ever has on the Monday of the game, let's just say it didn't start out well. Today however, the sun is shining, my dog is healthy as can be and has been renamed Lucky, the Tigers are 13-1 with the best record in the nation and a #2 final ranking having beaten three of the other top 5 teams. We have another chance to win it all again next year, how about if we just enjoy the success we've had? and you loosers quiting, go pull for the gumps we don't need you

I agree. Our team (both players and coaches) have much more to do with that.
Also, you can't quit what you don't even start. Much of our extensive tools/talent/plays etc. were not even used or started in this game, so it is not a matter of quitting. It is more a matter of learning how to start and explore what can be done new or different when your very first concept of what is good begins to not work anymore.
