yep. rather than blasting guns and roses the stadium needs more interactive stuff... the only way to keep students attention... or let the band play

In your link there is a video Herbstreit posted on twitter of the Alabama crowd. Note that entire stadium is singing along to piped in music... I guess that is what you can get if you play something the people like

LSU ought to have student section ticketed prior to game and then unticketed after that. If you really want to go, then you can use your ticket pre-game and be assured admission. After that, you roll the dice. Maybe something similar could be done with the rest of the stadium.
Actually, I think LSU ought to sell a pack of tickets for SEC games and a pack for non-SEC games FOR THE SAME SEAT. Then season ticket holders could opt for one or both. But if they didn't want the non-SEC games, then LSU could sell them to people who do want them. Lots of families like to go to the non-SEC games because it is more affordable and less of a hassle than the "Big" games.
