Glad I am not your kid....having to get shitty advice.

It would be just as mature next year.

He just stands a good chance of being mature with a far thicker wallet next year.

So if your grade is a late first round or second round, why not leave? Stock can improve based on combines.

It can also be lowered. If he shows up and runs a 4.7 40 he could go in the 3rd or 4th round. The reward for staying could be #1 rated WR in the draft. Bad combine then might push him to around 20th pick in the draft. Definitely a risk, but the reward is pretty damn good.

It would be a poor economic decision.

he is going to be behind blackmon, jeffery, the kid at notre dame. 2nd to 3rd round.

come back, better passer in mett, he could be top 10 pick. a difference of about 10-20 million dollars.

He was showing signs of being a top flight wr with lee in. an entire season of that type of production will really elevate him. especially the exposure lsu is and will continue to get.

his question is if he's physical enough when the ball is in the air. does he want it more than the other guy? we know he's fast and has good hands.

Talked to his mother Saturday night.......she WAS NOT happy. I said "Tell Reuben to come back for next year." She looked at me and said "For what........THIS?!" I can only assume she was referring to 0 first downs in the first half.

Best reason to stay is to win back to back national championships!

He should go. We never use our recievers except for blocking. I wish we had a better passinggame for the guy

The reality is RR was 4th in the league in catches, 3rd in yards, 1st in avg per catch and 3rd in TD's. Thats pretty good for never using the receivers except for blocking. And on a 13 - 0 team with a chance to win the national title. Does it really get any better than that for a receiver?

Edit to include: And that against the hardest schedule in college football.

He would probably be just as mature, but that's beside the point. If he declares now, he has an extra year of getting paid, and, as someone else has already stated, rookie contracts under the new NFL deal are not what they used to be. It's unlikely he'll get a significantly larger payday if he waits another year. He could, however, get injured and see his stock drop like a rock. The reward does not outweigh the risk factor. The only reason I could see staying is getting to stay in college another year with friends.

BTW, if you were my child and you used that kind of language, I would put you in timeout.

Elleshue, you're compiling quite a body of hate posts to me, which is against the terms of use.

I saw he had a towel over His head sitting on the bench in the first half. You could tell he was annoyed, frustrated, and somewhat embarrassed from the first half performance. It was still a little disappointing to see him hanging his head and having that attitude, even though I can understand. He has been one of my favorite players this year. I think he is gone even though I believe he could help his draft stock a lot if he stayed.

No, just asking. I could keep what was said to myself, instead I choose to share. If you dont like the information, take it up with Mr and Mrs Randle.

THIS?!"

"This" happens to be the only 13-0 team in college football. "This" is the SEC champions. "This" is the favorites to beat Bama again and win the National Championship. If she was stupid enough to say that, her opinion doesn't really matter.

And there are 3 big body WR's that will definitely go ahead of him this year, possibly 4. He should definitely come back.

He has been handicapped by the QB situation and should come back, but he will blow up at the combine and pro day. His stock will actually improve once he starts working with top notch evaluators.

The whole team did and they should have been embarrassed. They came out as flat as we have seen them this year.

Maybe. He'd have to adjust to a new QB and adjustments made in play calling for a new QB. Plus, as you mentioned, he's a had a good year even with our sub-par passing game.

If i was randle and i got a good eval 1st thru 3rd round i'd leave. Nothing else to prove when they beat bama again. Only thing he can come back to is the RISK of blowing out a knee and Mettenburger not being worth the hype. No can say he will be better because he has started an SEC game and has not been thru the rigors of a season. He could be a CAM NEWTON or he could be a Garrett Gilbert. Never can tell till he get hit in the mouth. I'm sure D. Byrd will can tell him how his stock can drop with an upproven and inconsistent QB.

Working with Mettenberger would probably help him tremendously, but I can understand if he is frustrated.

randle has had a good year. if he wants to go pro, then thanks for helping us win a NC. he won't REALLY matter to us next year. thats the thing about this team, no person is so important they can't be replaced. we will have very good receivers and GREAT rbs and GREAT defense.
