Will ruckert and Patrick go yard this season or not?

I think ruckert hit 4 deep loud fly balls to the warning track last weekend at State. I think he’s going to be a really good MIF for us the next 2 years

That would be awesome
Hope he won’t transfer

With the playing time he’s getting right now, and being from Baton Rouge, I highly doubt he transfers. Would be a real head scratcher. He’s basically guaranteed 2B next year and may even get a shot at SS

Agreed, you just never know with the portal and NIL now a days
But he should stay

Both have hit a few "loud" outs and a few XBHs. Ruckert looked fantastic last night.

I dunno if they hit HRs this year or not but with Serna, Braun, Ruckert, and Patrick along with Arrambide all playing like they are I feel a lot better going into 2027 than I did a few weeks ago. If we can get a freshman or two to perform like Serna and Braun and then a solid transfer or two we could be cooking.

Hope you mean in pitching but that would be more than a transfer or 2. That's more like 4-5

Both kids are going nowhere

Patrick needs to stop slinging his bat before he smacks someone.

If I could ever get my wife to love me the way you do HR’s that would be lovely

His grandfather played for LSU and most of his family went to LSU. He grew up wanting to be a Tiger. He’s not transferring.

If they get full time next season. I'd expect them both to be in the 8-11 HR range.
