eh I'm fine with that. Even if Trent were to take us into the tourney next year I wouldn't be comfortable with our future outlook under him, and at that point we'd probably be forced to give him an extension and be stuck with him even longer. Trent was just never going to do what it took on the recruiting trail and its also apparent he really wasn't all that great of a coach. This move is best for all

Def best for all. I just dont get why he cant coach. According to him he has no hobbies other than basketball and has that no nonsense attitude. Ill never blame alleva for that hire, looked good on paper

I was on board as well. Resume looked good, he said all the right things. Execution just sucked for whatever reason

Same thing here. I would like to see how many hours he actually took creating gameplans and watching film on opponents. Because whatever it was, it wasnt enough.

Not a word that I have heard about issues at North Texas
Knows recruiting, knows the state, knows the program generally
it doesn't have to be a LSU guy, but it's fricking April, pulling some of these names from their current jobs is a joke, not happening
It seems your main dislike of Jones is the Lester Earl deal- guy has never been handed penalities like Pearl or some of the other crazy shite
Program is pretty much in shambles. If Jones doesn't work out is it really all that much of a setback?
He doesn't need to be the first one to talk too, but IMO LSU should speak with the man and see if he is a current fit
