I agree with all of your comments. With Cecil, it also seemed like our offensive line fit very well with his skills. We ran the toss dive often and blocked it so that Cecil would just follow the hole and often not touched until the safety came up to make the tackle. Cecil had a talent at running over safeties.

Faulk did everything as mentioned, from high school (QB) to LSU to winning Super Bowls in the NFL.
