Not worried about beating UGA twice. Obviously beating bama twice is not easy. Playing Florida again would be the hardest SECCG, IMO.

if LSU beats Kentucky in sec champ game Kentucky is not going to cfp as sec 3.

Thread is about meeting teams twice.

Georgia is not a guarantee to be in Atlanta.

I’d love to play FLA again. It will have a much different result and our easiest path to the CFP.

If I were writing the script that's how I would want it to play out.

This doesn’t have the feel of a two sec team year with Ohio State, Notre Dame, Clemson and teams like OU and Texas having 1 loss.

Florida in The Benz will be much better for us than Florida in The Swamp. And we would dominate attendance. Our fans will be hungry for a championship. Theirs will have been to 3/4 SEC championships.

One loss Alabama gets in over all other one loss teams. No question in my mind. But I agree that one of your other 3 need to lose one.

That is why I said COULD.

If we make it to Atlanta, we can beat anyone there. But I think we'd play better in a rematch with UF than against UK or UGA, just because we'll be out for revenge.

No it wouldn’t. No way the committee lets in 2 SEC teams again.

Bama doesn't deserve to be in playoffs if they don't win the SEC. Their schedule fricking sucks.

At this point, I am more concerned about the road to win the west.

One loss Alabama could finish with 1 ranked win at the end of the year if they lose to LSU. And Texas or Oklahoma could finish with 1 loss and a big 12 championship. I think OU wins out, Ohio State wins out, Clemson wins out and then 1 team from Sec.

Have you been watching college football over the past decade? When has a one loss Bama not gotten in and how many NC’s has a one loss Bama team won? I don’t like it or think it is fair, but this is as certain as death and taxes.

Their loss would be to a top 4, SEC champ on the road. They are getting in over every other one loss team. I guarantee it. The selection committee is not trying to make up for past sins. Their job is to put th best 4 teams in the playoff and they will feel the other one loss teams are not as good. Period. They do not care about conference championships, conference affiliations, etc..

But as I said in an earlier post, one of the other undefeated teams must lose. Bama does not get in over undefeated ND, Clemson, or Ohio State.

If we beat Bama and they end up 11-1 and out of the SECCG, their best win looks like it would be at home against a fringe top 25 Texas A&M team. But of course they'd get a pass just for being Alabama.
