It would be ironic if he does not play and our D line eat up the gators.

Everyone who is upset because he won't "back up his words" is just as bad as ESPN.

His quote was no big deal, at best he was misquoted, at worst he is talking about the kind of attitude we play with on D, hard hitting attacking defense. The kind of attitude our talented backups at DT will play with. I am sure RJF will lose sleep that he disappointed some LSU fans that took his quote too seriously just like the nationwide idiots.

Why? It's not like he told us he heard from a guy who knows someone in the know. He got it from the news so it's not his fault.

This irony will seal the fate of Miles-- pyschologically this has to help the Gators talking all that junk and not even playing!

First of all, seal his fate how? You mean ruin his career??? Secondly, I think this has the complete opposite effect. Florida no longer has the guy with the target on his back to fire them up. If anything, it's anticlimactic.

i haven't read 9 pages of this thread but are there really people who think this was RJF's decision not to play and travel if indeed this info is true?

you don't think he was told by the coaching staff to prepare and practice like he was going to start the game? do you think the coaching staff is just joking around when they say stuff like that?

LSU is not a one man team. Psychologically him not being there is an edge to LSU. LSU is deep on the line. What is Florida going to concentrate on now. Looking for a ghost.

say what?? florida is going to concentrate on doing what they were going to try to do even if RJF was was playing. losing one of your best lineman is as much of an edge for lsu as losing spikes would be for UF...there is no advantage. now, thats not to say your dline wont still have success

maybe, but im thinking last years loss will provide motivation enough (especially with the feeling that we really let last years game slip away after controlling the action for about 70% of the game)
