How can the SOBs just grab cars without knowing if car illegally parked or the owner is somebody's overnight guest and legally parked at six frickin thirty on a Saturday morning!!??

On gameday and the night before, they are towing cars parked in the wrong places on campus. Students get screwed the most, by far. With LSU's blessing, I might add.

And no, never happened to anyone in my family. My son parks at ECA apartments, where he lives, and is not required to move by whatever time they issue to the students.

They are vultures and you hear/read horror stories all the time.

Just like any other contractor on campus. They are held to a different (lower) standard due to the fact they line the right pockets. Can't wait until some of these LSU employees are caught with their hand in the cookie jar, and it IS coming.

Getting towed by Riverside is a rite of passage if you went to LSU

University Commons apartments on Brightside

Spots are poorly marked. No doubt. Was towed from here too. Better bring cash and it has to be exact change.

frick those guys. When I was going to school at LSU I pulled into University Commons apartments on Brightside to pick up a chick and kinda just parked in an open spot bc I was only gonna run up and get her.. I got up there and had to wait around about 20 mins for her to finish getting ready. When we went to leave my car was towed.

But according to them, they aren’t open on saturdays. That’s what they tell you when you try to pick your car up on a weekend.

Serious question. Why doesn’t LSU student government put out a list of businesses who use Riverside towing for their lots and ask students not to go to those businesses. This would hurt Riverside more than anything else if businesses start using other more professional towing services.

It's $25 per day including weekends & holidays. They charge you when they're closed!"
And and automatic non-negotiable fee $225 starting.
They have most public sector contracts, BRPD, LSU BRCC, LSP,
Guess they need the football game gig to pad their retirement...thieves.
Unless signs are up, clearly marked or flyers given to residents to let people know and people raise a ruckus, nothing will change.
They have too many friends in high places on the gravy train.
