Why didn't he pick earlier? Now he missed their spring practices and will be on the same level as their incoming freshman.

Good luck to him. No reason for any Tiger fans to not wish him well unless he's going against LSU.

Agreed. Seems to have always been a team player. Cannot blame anyone for wanting to see if they can get a shot at playing.

He has to graduate from LSU first this semester so he doesn't have to sit out a year.

Team player, well spoken and a class fellow in everything I have heard regarding LSU. Not only do I wish him luck, hope he starts! I've been wanting to see him play for several years now and appears to be a very nice, caring individual to boot.

Following in the footsteps of Jordan Rodgers as Vanderbilt QBs who are the younger less successful brothers of Top 10 QBs in the NFL.

No insult intended, I hope he plays, and plays well.

How many years does he have left to play?

Good for him.

I'm not 100% clear on the rules for transferring after you graduate, but could we have blocked this if we wanted to? I'm glad we didn't, and I don't personally think a school should have any say in the matter, but part of me was thinking we might block him from transferring elsewhere in the SEC.

In any case, hope he does well at Vandy. Here's hoping he can start right away, though I guess that might be difficult with him missing spring practices and stuff.

Redshirted in 2011 so my guess is he has two years of eligibility left.

Glad to see him going to a great graduate school like Vandy. Always a Vandy fan except when they play LSU and especially now that Franklin gave them the shaft. I hope Rivers starts and plays well. Always represented LSU in a positive light.
