how come no one is talking about the obvious offensive PI on the the touchdown before the half. That non call changes the whole game it should have been 3-3 at half time

The rant has talked about it.

It was irrelevant. UF could have kicked a FG and won the game. LSU only scored 3

What's more relevant is that LSU didn't go for it on 4th down from the one.

Because it wouldn't have mattered. Once Jefferson threw the pick, he lost it mentally. The guy cannot handle the pressure right now. And now we've got two road games against Bama and Ole Miss looming.

water under the bridge. Why not complain about the encroachment and personal foul penalties on c. jones and pep levingston that kept florida drives alive. Ultimately, we all saw it on the field Fla had the edge at qb, offensive and defensive lines and the best team won.

My peeve is that when a call went LSU's way against Georgia it was a horrifying miscarriage of justice.

When they show Cooper's jersey grab on the replays, he's a mischievous scamp who knows how to play the game.

thats the other thing that pisses me off the damn geek squad that thinks our oline is not good we ran the ball well even though FLA but 8 in the box and the sacks were product of the quarterback not the oline. And our defense dominated the line of scrimage last night so much that urban meyer wouldnt go for it on 4th and inches with tebow.

Yeah, we looked really awesome on all those 3rd and 4th and short plays. Even the ones Scott made, he was having to dodge guys all up in the backfield before he could even get to the line. Why do you think we didn't go for it on the goal line? JJ is definitely contributing to sacks, but anyone who thinks this line can even compare to our lines the last 5 yeas is FOOLING themseles and looking to scapegoat JJ. Just go back and watch T-Bob get manhandled every play and remind yourself that Helms was EVEN SMALLER. He was just than much BETTER.

i think the O-line deserves some of the blame, but most falls on the QB... when you take a 7 -8 yard drop the d-ends can just run straight upfield past the oline to the qb.. straight line to the qb. with a 3 step drop the d-line has to go around and through the o-line... so imo its the scheme/qb that caused the majority of the sacks..

Florida kinda got away with a lot of stuff, and some pretty good spots. Idk maybe its just sour grapes.

Every game seems to have its share of missed-calls, no-calls, bad calls, etc and I usually take the position that "it all comes out in the wash."

I didn't know about it 'til Gordy & Charlie mentioned. Hanagraf (?) said it was a definite missed call.

Not sure what the time was on the clock but it wasn't much before half. Had UF had that TD called-back and lost yards it's possible that they would've got no points at all before the half.

That would been a big turn of events.

Get over it. We lost the game because we scored 3 fricking points. While half the shite I read on the rant drives me crazy or makes no sense, at least there are people offering an opinion of how LSU should change the things they CAN control. I'd much rather ready that nonsense then read somebody whining about bad calls or no calls.

Yep. Had a thread on this very topic earlier that got whacked for some reason ... the Church Lady must be adminning again. Blatant cheating; add it to the Hall of Shame plays along w/ Chaz Ramsey's behind the knees block of Glen Dorsey.

What a stupid comparison. Plays like that happen evey game. You just see it more often on a national TV game with all the camera angles.

This is from a buddy of mine that played on the 1980 Georgia team that one the national championship. Only the UGA people are talking about it.....but not nearly as much as the excessive celebration penalty.
