You are just what this board doesn't need. Negative about everything all the time. Bad childhood? There is help. But you won't find it here.

That's false.

You're just ignorant & silly.

What did the offense do last season to give you any indication that they're going to be productive this season?

Skillet, I think you are going to be proven wrong on the oline production.

Way too much emphasis in the off-season plus bring in Ben W will be the key. Stud is a dud, but Ben W is a star coach in the making.

This. Ford FTW

Ford will be the man, but Ridley will start and pound a lot up the middle, which should wear the D's down a little before Ford explodes all over th muthas.

miles loves big fullback size tailbacks, and he likes to run them off tackle. if ridley can get 1000 up the middle, then hats off to him. without a real passing threat to open up the run, and get some of the defenders out of the box, he may have to get about 500 of those yards on his own

i would be surprised if Ridley gets 100 carries this year.

Barring injury, this was my prediction earlier and remains my opinion:

My prediction for the 2010 season

quote:

Ridley 147 carries
Ford 133 carries
Murphy 32 carries
Sheppard 12 carries
J. Gore 7 carries
B. Worle 3 carries
Dugas 2 carries
D Allen 1 carry
D Calhoun 1 carry

where is everyone getting this from?
I find it hard to believe Miles wont give the bulk to Ridley and Murphy (assuming hes 100%), we all know he plays the upperclassmen for better or worse.

As far as any LSU running back having a chance to have a big season, that's highly doubtful under our current coaching regime...

Yea... not possible to reach 1,000 with this staff

Barring injury, Yes. Ware is the same type of big back as Ridley and Ford. Gore is a shifty scat back that you don't have this year. He fills in that Trindon Holliday role. Holliday only got 14 carries his freshman year. There won't be that many carries because RS will take away a few carries from Gore on reverses, carries, etc. Gore will likely only play in blowouts or when Murphy is hurt. Plus, his redshirt will be burned on special teams anyway.

If he qualifies!

Ridley & Ford will both be over 1000 yards rushing by seasons end.

I agree with the poster about Gore taking Trindon's role on offense, but not on special teams. Either that or Shep will get the carries

I don't think Gore will be a returner. I only think he will play on special teams.

Ford's tough, but Ridley seems more explosive to me. Hes bigger and he hits the hole harder. But i can see Ford getting a third of the touches. Well damn i didnt even account for RS. Ridley will get about 600

Why would they play Ware? We already have Ridley and Ford who are that type of back?
