Bet Lester and Maximus are changing there underwear now and probably for the next week. 3 rd round surprises me but.. 1) Belichick is the best coach and judge of talent in the league and 2) Stevan will be used a lot this next year. I think NE has more LSU grads on their roster than any other team.. or near to it. I was probably the biggest Ridley fan on the Rant, and now the happiest !!! Where's Maximus ????

No, you picked him to be a much later pick. I am by far Ridleys biggest supporter on this board and it's not close.
Look under the draft thread . I told everyone he would go in the 3rd round to the Patriots.
Dont jump on the bandwagon after the fact.

Who stays? My Guess:
x Fred Taylor
x Kev. Faulk
x Sammy Morris
2. Woodhead
3. Ridley
1. B G-Ellis
4. Vereen

You are, and stayed the course. I figured he was a 6th or F/A at best.

I was wrong about Ridley's 40 time, but I was pretty spot on with the draft.

After looking at who are projected to go in front of him at RB, I think with a good combine he can easily be an early 3rd round pick or maybe even better. Back to top

I too was surprised to see him go in 3rd round but very pleased.
When the Saints didn't pick Ingram in the first round I thought that maybe they'd get Ridley in a steal in a later round... until they picked Ingram with their 2nd first round pick.
I'm just glad he went to a good team.

Of all of the Tigers to get drafted, I'm the most excited for Ridley. Lots of people didn't give him a chance and to go this high and to the Patriots is awesome.

I'll admit I thought he was a 4th or 5 th round guy based on talent.
I've watched him since the 8th grade and wish him the best!
Pats and there RB by commitee is a great fit for him. I never saw him as a starting feature tailback in NFL.

Really happy for Stevan. He'll represent us well.
