this guy from va tech doesnt look that good so far. I havent watched them play yet and stanford has a pretty solid d, but so does most of the teams ridley has played against.

But same could happen for ridley. I guess we will wait and see. Glad he is playing and wont be butt hurt on whatever he decides, but some guys dont think he even has a chance it seems like.

Does anyone know what Ridley did to be declared academically ineligible? What did he do to be reinstated while school was out?

He was accused of cheating on a test in one subject early in the semester in which he and another student both got 49/50, with both missing different questions. It was pure BS, to be frank, but LSU's academic cheating policy is so strict, that your're guilty until proven innocent once accused. I bet he doesn't go pro. He'll be 5th rd pick or worse, IMO.

That's close to the story, but not exact.
I got the full story tonight, and while I can't share it here, after being told what happened, it seemed to me like the investigation was based heavily on assumption of guilt, as opposed to provable culpability. Not surprising he was eventually cleared when looked at objectively.
Also it was an NCAA rule, not an LSU rule, which is why they got involved and LSU had to report it.

Just curious why Ridley's statement said that he regretted putting himself in that situation if all he did was ace a test?
