re: Ridley > 1000 yards rushing for the Patriots this year

I said on here over and over that people didn't appreciate just how good Ridley was. Sure he wasn't a LMJ or CJ spiller, but the very first guy rarely ever brought Ridley down. He was really elusive for his size, and the only thing he really lacked was break away speed

They committed to giving him touches, that's all it takes with any of our backs
Ehh Pats rotate backs similar to how LSU does
Woodhead played the majority of the first half snaps

Good example was the Tennessee game after the fiasco. He got stopped before he scored and just drove his way into the end zone. Good thing he did, too, or there might have been a riot at Tiger Stadium.

They do rotate, but Ridley has received the vast majority of the carries.
He has 225 carries this season, while Woodhead is second at only 57 carries.

7Ward, you statement is correct, but in the open field, it wasn't that the first defender rarely made the tackle, it was rare that he made any contact. Ridley had, and has, great wiggle for a back with power, and he routinely finds seams in a brick wall to create 3,5, and 10+ runs from nothing.
Lester, you agree with me?

Otis and I were a couple of the very few who didn't bad mouth Ridley at LSU. Most wanted Michael Ford to take his spot!
Some predicted he would go undrafted.

I think Dominic Davis and Addai are the only other LSU backs I can think of that have achieved this (at least since 1980 or so).
Oh yeah, many here said he was too slow and that he should've stayed another year to improve his stock. Yet another example of why RBs need to leave as soon as possible.

He has proven me wrong.
But I never said he'd go undrafted.

I've already admitted it weeks ago.
I'm glad to be wrong. He's a good kid

Edited: Dalton Hilliard ran for 1000 in the NFL once.

I've said multiple times that he was my favorite Tiger when he was here. I always look for one as my favorite, glad he is shining in only his second year of pro ball, wish Scott was too.
