It takes a ton of work and getting over the fact in your head that you are about to try and put a big number from the floor to your shoulders. A lot of it is mental,
This is why I said most people would laugh at 250 once they felt it. They would not even attempt to do it

Reading those twitter feeds I can literally feel my brain cells leaving my head en masse. Twitter = the dumbing down of the American nation. I literally can't understand one thing they are saying.

I don't see this being an issue for Laron.

He had a 425 bench and a 500 lb squat. Something was wrong. I power clean 285 and my bench is only 290 and back squat 385. It wasn't a strength issue.

form is so huge for oly lifts...just a little bit off, or not enough rotation/flexibility at the right time and you miss the weight.

Absolutely not. There are probably less than a dozen college ball players that can clean 350+ and I doubt any of them are defensive backs.

It is very good for a defensive back but I'm sure each major college football program has at least 10 guys who can clean 315+. Most probably a lot bigger than Jefferson though

if you weigh 220 or less a 350 lbs clean puts you in the top 5% of the human race

wouldn't elite college football players fall into that 5% of the human race segment?

This is talking about elite among people who actually lift, not just some chump on the street...

A 350 lb clean at 220 or less is probably in the top 10% for NFL players if not top 5%.

It would easily put you there. Michael Ford was considered a freak among freaks in the weight room and he power cleaned 352

I spent more time in a college weightroom then you ever will. Michael ford at 5'9" 210 lbs is going to power clean more than Rickey at 6'0" 195 lbs. Mike is a little stronger per body weight but Rickey still has freak numbers

:sigh:

you really have no idea, do you?

there are differences between the lifts and body shapes, arm length, muscle insertion points, etc. that effect the max lifts possible.

There is no way you lifted and dont know these basic facts.

Sorry.

Sorry.

I do know these facts. And Mikes body composition is 100000% better for olympic lifts than Rickey Jefferson. That is the concept your dumbass seems to be missing

make what shite up?

You're the one claiming awards and status. I havent claimed anything. But keep projecting, clown. People that project are usually honest and truthful.

He's moving good weight for a multi-year collegiate football program player in a SC program.
