That was a great team, but they also lost to a 5 loss Florida team.

When has Richt ever had a team that didn't underperfrom according to their preseason expectations?

Miles has a better record, more NCs and looks better in an LSU hat.

Miles because Richt will NEVER win a NC at UGA.

If you think Miles is the better coach fine, but don't use the NC argument. Richt and Tuberville both have had better teams record wise than Miles, they just don't have a horseshoe shoved up their arse.

The NC last year was lucky, but it is rich when a Bama fan discusses the role of "luck".

I never said anything about a national title. I just asked people to give reasons why they would take Miles or Richt.

If your argument is that you would take Richt because he has one season when he only lost one game six years ago, then good for you.

Easy one here, Les. Richt is so overrated. Always will be "THE" year.

Lucky is just pissed because no amount of luck will keep Flordia from beating that arse this weekend.and he wants to talk about playing the best team in the confrence I think Bama had that horseshoe shoved up their arse this year every team they beat this year had a down year.Tenn? ,LSU?, AU?, Clemson?, and you want to talk about horseshoes 2 Of the 4 fired coaches half way through the season.

No question - Richt
Why? Because Miles is a dufus.

I'll take a dufus with a crystal ball over a genius holding his playbook every day of the week.

I like Richt and think he's a quality coach, but his teams classically underachieve and given that Miles actually won the title (no matter how he won it) and the fact that I'm an LSU fan and he's our coach, I'm going with Miles.

Talk about lucky

Tulane
Ole Miss
LSU

Now say luck is involved, and yes you have to be lucky to win a NC. Injuries, lucky bounces. Let's see how Nick does in the next 5 years. I would not talk until Saturday.

miles definitely won a pretty lucky national championship last year. bama, florida, and AUBURN games were abosolutely ridiculous. i can definitely grant florida and bama to solid play/ coaching but if you dont think the auburn win was the luckiest thing ever, you're ignorant. but hey, that's what happens to every championship team (chalmer's three anyone)?

that being said, i like both coaches and take richt for the same reason many of you took miles, bc he is georgia's coach.
