Wolf,
I'm of the belief that if you give people good interviews and engaging topics you'll be alright. Sometimes we talk about silly topics but for the most part we give the audience something to think about and something they can respond to. I know somethings don't work. For a show that is only one hour a day we accomplish A Lot. This season we've had Tommy Tuberville and Mark Richt. We had S.Carolina's DC. We have Houston Nutt, Bob Toledo and Larry Blakeney slated to come on and Bobby Petrino is pending. We have "Around the SEC" Segments on Monday's that are similar to Cowherds "Spanning the Globe". We cover the big stories. There is a lot of effort that goes into that one hour show

For a local show to be able to bring on guests such as Richt and Tubberville is pretty impressive. I can tell you guys dedicate a substantial amount of time to this show. No it's not perfect, but what radio talk show is? Keep up the good work!

It's all about taking the time to give people a good show. I know that some people don't like me and some don't like Matt. You may disagree with the opinions or you might think some bits are unfunny but the bottom line is that you can tell that we care about the audience enough to try to get the good guests and we care enough to find interesting stories.

It's a pretty good show, I'm not going to be overly critical other than to say you cover too much stuff that wouldn't be interesting to a BR audience or an LSU fan, which is your core audience. Buddy's show is not as well put together as yours, and he is not as professional with his presentation as you are, but at least he covers almost exclusively LSU news. When you and Matt just start talking about obscure sports topics, I turn it off. When you talk about LSU or their opponents, I tune in.

mark richt is neither overrated nor a douche. when uga first hired him i was very disappointed. i liked Donnan and hated that whole hypocritical Diddy Bowden thing he brought with him. i thought he was a soft pretty boy. but he has done great things at uga. if you dont think winning 2 secc in 8 years is great and a several 10 win seasons and top 10 finishes vs. this competition you're either crazy or just talking shite. not only that but his niceness is genuine. he takes time with folks, answers questions thoughtfully. i personally have turned from a doubting thomas to a true believer.

Fair enough...however there is only so much you can say about an opponent before it becomes very redundant. You can't spend everyday repeating the same stuff about UGA. You have to add something new everyday. That is why we have guests that cover the teams. This week we have Mark Richt, Terry Bowden and the UGA Play by Play Guy. I believe that you should get the perspective of the peopel that cover these teams on a daily basis.

How so? He's won nearly 80 games in 8 seasons? He's won 2 SEC Titles and aside from LSU, UGA has the most SEC wins since the start of 2003. We had him on our show today and he was great.

Yeah, but he was asked by ESPN why he thought his team should be in the MNC game, and he gave his case.

So he sucks and is overrated now.

CFB message board logic.

Miles signaled timeout at a weird time and then lost against UT in '05 so he is forever an overrated douche of a coach to Soopatigafan's equals at other SEC message boards. Really brilliant thinkers all of them of course.

Scott Howard. Great basketball commentator... still getting his footing with football. (Really hard to follow a legend though.)

Good dude though.
