He was nothing but a class act. Said Georgia did not match up well against LSU. LSU is talented, big, fast and well coached. Said our DB's could be linebackers, LB's could be D ends, D ends could be tackles.
Said he was in the group that looked down on the close games the SEC played as not as special as the blow outs FSU and others (USC) were putting out until he got the Georgia job. He said it's not even close. SEC is the toughest top to bottom. A 17 - 13 victory is just as or more special than a 30 point blow out in other conferences. He said you don't understand unless you are a SEC fan, player or coach.
He was very complimentary of LSU and like I said, came across as a class act. Said their O-line was young and beat up with high school bodies and did not match up well with our D-line but thought their D-line matched up okay with our O-line.

Richt and just about every SEC coach would have said the same thing.......compliment the opponent to the max, promise little, hopefully deliver a "W"

How so? He's won nearly 80 games in 8 seasons? He's won 2 SEC Titles and aside from LSU, UGA has the most SEC wins since the start of 2003. We had him on our show today and he was great.

We didn't play any of those soundbites today. We don't play them everyday. Only if it fits. I completely understand that some people may not like the clips. The audio isn't for everyone. You may not like some of the stuff we do but I think we more than make up for that with guests like Mark Richt, Tommy Tubberville, Sly Croom and other coaches, former players, play by play announcers, radio hosts, beat writers and others.

this si what i will say for your show. its great, except for the stupid sound clips or shite like "the eagle bank bowl" and you go "mmmmm" over and over. its like STFU. i like when yall debate stuff and have interviews. in fact, the houston nutt interviews were great. i heard you on out of bounds the other day and you sounded intelligent, but sometimes on the show you sound retarded, and i think its you trying to be funny.

As I said some things just dont't go over well with some people. I appreciate your listening and I appreciate the kind words. Again, sometimes people don't like everything you do. I sometimes say stuff that's completely stupid and a reach and it ends up being really unfunny. Sometimes I'll say something that is funny. It's just a hit and miss thing.

I find it hard to dislike Mark Richt. I think he is a class act and don't understand the vitriol for him from other fans. I understand the lobbying for the MNC thing last year but a lot of coaches would have done the same. thing.

Also, said having young QB was tough in this conference....Matt (their QB), for us, was trying to put team on his own shoulders and win by himself..Now, he relies on his teammates, then he got better....
