I think RRod stays 1 more year.
I think that as well. He needs a new DC though. This is the worst defense in Michigan history.

It's freaking Michigan which is widely considered the best public university academically in the nation.
Only by those folks who have never heard of the University of California at Berkeley.

They sit in trees. How smart are they?

yeah the self validation by the goat-rope circle jerk crowd is amazing;
I put Stanford far higher up the list. I was in a conversation with a Cal gal about Presidential response employing a crisis action plan and she was tabula rosa. Equally Stanford politards are well aware.

Say what you want.....but Miles has NEVER been in a better position than he is right now.
He's the most successful coach at LSU ever....he's shut all the critics up after beating everyone but AU (w/ one game left, of course)........he runs a GREAT program, recruits well and is a genuinely good guy.
LSU is lucky to have him.........UM would be crazy not to want him.
Should be interesting......

Stanford is not a public university

Miles may feel that he is needed to resurrect the Michigan program. And Michigan may feel the same way.
Miles has no track record for resurrecting a program.
Rich Rod made a huge mistake with Robinson DC hiring, but I agree he gets one more year. If the defense improves even a little, they will win next season.

I dont see Les leaving LSU anytime soon. I know his love for Michigan, but he knows which conference has the best brand of college football and which PAYS the most.

I know Oklahoma State wasn't terrible when he got there, but he brought that program a long way. The OSU program today is a lot better off because of Les Miles.

I've read rumors that Harbaugh is going there...I don't believe them.

Miles might love michigan but he'd be crazy to leave us on his own.He gets paid too much and the michigan program has a ways to go to get back.RR recruiting is severely one sided(offense) and his players can't fit into every system. It would take Miles 3-4 years to recruit players to fit his style and shore up that defense. Also he'd have a long way to go to catch OSU in talent.here he already has as much talent as any team in the SEC and nationally.
I know there are a lot of Miles haters on here(I've been frustrated with him myself but think he is a positive for the program)but it is very underestimated how much Miles means to this incoming recruiting class.Could possibly be disasterous to the class if Miles left.Only positive would be that we would very much be in the hunt to get Will Muschamp, who is not happy at Texas.Outside of that not much positive can come of Miles leaving.

We can--and should--do better than Muschamp.

Guys, the Michigan AD has already come out and dispelled the rumors about Rich Rod.
Sorry, but Miles is going to be your HC at LSU next year. Learn it, love it, live it.

Muschamp????? Have you seen texas d this year?????

I hope Miles stays. He is a classy guy, and he's shut up most of his critics this year.
I would totally understand, and I hope most other LSU fans would as well, if he chose to go back to his alma mater out of a sense of obligation.
No Muschamp please. The SEC isn't the place for OJT. especially as a head coach.
