A lot of our guy sat and no longer took the bowl game seriously. Actually now a days no one does.

Burrow will always have my respect for that A&M game.
he tried to will that team to a win.
100 yards rushing
3 rushing tds
300 yards passing
3 passing tds
0 int.
JB is a fricking warrior

A shitty team that had won 27 straight and beat Auburn the prior season
WTF are you talking about MEMPHIS PUT UP 41 on them. 41!! That was 563 yards and it took a 21 point fourth quarter to beat them.

Sure it was
This s "shitty" team you bash was also ranked 39th in scoring defense and beat an ACC team 41-14.
When was the last time an LSU QB threw for 395 yards vs anyone?

Who did they beat 41-14?
Are you talking about their 45-14 win over a 7-7 Pitt team?
If you are.....

Yes
Are you saying the ACC is terrible?

I like Burrow
But we also scored 0 vs Alabama
13 VS Miss St (with the defense giving us the ball inside the 10) and 24 on aterrible Arkansas Defense.
The “back Half” was 3 games. 2 against teams that really didn’t belong on the same field as us.

Do you even know what that offense with Milton does to another teams offense? Makes them want to play faster to keep up which ultimately makes the opposing team bad.
If you for once think that win was remotely close to beating MSU or UGA, you’re retarded. MAU would have shut them out and destroyed them without Milton.

“A ACC team” doesn’t mean a good offense.
Pitt has the 98th ranked offense.
They weren’t the same defense as last year.
They were a big fish in a little pond.
We threw the ball a lot, which is good.
Burrow looked good the WRs looked good. But they were playing athletes just not close to their level.

Why is it ok to bring up players on other teams that miss games but when you bring up that LSU had some players miss too it's considered an excuse by the negas.

He progressed but what will really make him a good QB is our RT and LT.
If they can protect decent for him we will be really really good.
If they struggle then it's prolly a 3 loss season again.

LSU definitely had problems at tackle last year but the quick passes should help with getting the ball out before the rush can get to him. The tackles won't have to hold their blocks as long. Plus another year in the system should help all of the younger players along the offensive line. This is Burrow's year.

Dammit - again you freaking retard. I was not replying to YOU! I replied to the OP that claimed Burrow played better the back end of the season than he did middle/first part. That isn’t true considering the competition.
To our it
To you this way - has LSU played UCF in place of Miami, they still score 50 on them. It wouldn’t have mattered except, Even if Milton makes teams play faster, LSU would have slowed the game down to kill it and Burrow has less yards passing.
You can’t just use 1 game like he was doing to make a point.
One MORE TIME
Burrow / LSU passing game and offense was not greatly improved at the back end of the season. UGA and MSU are examples of very good defense they beat.

Yes it is true. It doesn't matter if the competition was the little sisters of the poor he absolutely played better.
Just because you don't like it it doesn't make it any less true.

Bashers need to get real. How many teams play half a schedule against ranked teams? (Final AP)
Answer - FEW if any.

Absolutely was. You're an idiot.
There's no doubt the passing game improved the last quarter of the season.

While Burrow improved as the season went on.... the last few gamwes were against crap defenses.. That is Fact... Plus he led us to ZERO points against Bama.... Those have to factor into last season when talking Burrow....

And the pass defense ranking stats are a joke.
Here are 7 of the Top-10 ranked pass defenses:
Eastern Mich
Central Mich
App St
Bowling Green
Tulsa
Cal
Southern Miss
Really, Dude? Really?
