Rewatched the game this evening and have optimism.

With all that went wrong and TC being a great QB and on the road and all that, just think about the following….

We basically played one half of football.
Down 24-7 at half against that team and environment is tough to overcome plus the injury to Spears. However think about this. We finally pressure TC and he gives us a pick and we make that 7 to make it 24-14. We cause em to punt and then Sam hits Winnie to make it 24-21. Finally, Ty gets the huge sack with a bit over one minute remaining in the 3rd. So all this happened in one quarter in a game where we basically only played two. Now here’s the game (minus Green injury of course). We get it to the redzone and settle for 3 instead of finishing the drive with 7. Now with all that, imagine if we were up 28-24 with 5-6 min left and our D finally getting pressures. Being up 4 there would be crucial because even if TC carves us up and gets a touchdown, baring us jumping offsides like we did lol it’s 31-28 and we at least have a chance to tie if we get in range. But not getting the 7 and having to settle for the 3 I believe really cost us the game with ALL that went wrong. And we still got down there at the end with a chance to get 6 and have a chance at a two pointer to tie. I know TLDR but when you break it down, I don’t see how we don’t come out confident on Saturday and the rest of the season. But it starts with Texas AM and of course that’s a must win. We shall see what Lane and Blake draw up.
