As for the UT defense, and I know this won’t be popular, LSU need to run the ball
There's a difference between running the ball because you have to and running the ball because you want to.

Most of the logical fans know its going to be a tough game and talking is just talking

But if you think Eagles and Johnson aren’t capable, then you don’t know the players competing. LSU recruited Eagles hard. He was committed to LSU at one time.
Did I ever say that they weren’t capable? Nope!
What I am saying is our starting defensive backfield is littered with an All-American and 5 star recruits! We are called DBU for a reason! And I can promise you Raymond and Aranda don’t recruit DB’s that can’t play man-to-man against the top receivers in the country becthat is who we play, the top receivers in the country! Look at our defensive numbers since Aranda has been here! Have faith in the $2.5mil dollar DC, to game plan for them appropriately!

Ehlinger had the 7th most hits/contacts for a QB last year.. That + Divinity, Phillips, Delpit, Stevens, and Chaisson bodes well for LSU IMO. one hit and he'll be thinking about avoiding contact the next time around which will lead to PBUs or Ints for our secondary.
