Of course it’s dumb. I can tell you for a fact, that there are highly regarded baseball folks at LSU( LEGENDS) that see the program up close on a regular basis that believe it’s time for Paul to go. Not Theriot. Not someone that voices their opinion on a radio talk show. Highly respected former tigers that don’t call for people’s jobs. They don’t get any bigger. This is first hand knowledge. The roster mismanagement and “that’s just baseball” mindset is not shared by everyone that actually knows what they are talking about.

They didn’t want to fire him because he couldn’t host regionals; it was because he could not win national titles. So yea, I remember.
