Wow. Tenn Tech
Had all the tools.Highly rated. Kind of reminds me of myles brennan high school career. Played at a private school great stats. I think brennan has better mechanics and quicker release though. Just thought it was worth mentioning that we as fans get caught up in the numbers these kids put up in high School. I think LSU has two good young QB's. Just hope they get developed properly.

They’re not the same at all. You posed this because they’re both white pocket passers with blonde hair.

Did they both not play at Private Catholic schools?where competition was not that great? and their stats were insane.
I'm not saying the final results will be the same because looks like brennan has a chip on his shoulder but very similar to start their LSU careers.

I often wondered if his biggest issue simply wasn't maturity level. Don't really know, but I suspect so. Maybe the multiple transfers point to that... maybe not.

which is exactly why tRant built this kid up into the savior

... surely that doesn't apply to Brennan though

It took almost 8 games before people realize Etlings whiteness wouldn't save him from the LSU QB curse.

For one thing, you are thinking of the wrong private school setup. Brennan wasn't playing against all white schools where there are more athletes in the bloomer bowl.

I despise nay say'ers particularly since destroying them in competition is easy as a rule.

This was the reason Ridley didn't have a ton of offers.
He was averaging 200ypg vs teams in the MAIS. look at their playoff brackets Here. 8 Man football at lowest level and small schools you've never heard of on the bigger stage. For perspective, Silliman and Central Private play against Ridley's alma mater.

So, he was set to go his first offer, Ole Miss(his mom wanted him there). But LSU offered and his visit sold him on the Tigers.
Only had two offers

we know how that turned out.

But it's not wrong to be skeptical about these kids in small private school leagues.
