He asked the NCAA to address the issue and they didn't, so he took it to the extreme to force them. Once they did something about it, he stopped. Same-same. He has said he wishes this weren't happening, and I believe him. but until it's fixed, he's going full bore ahead.

I was always so annoyed by him doing it, but also realized that until it was enforced then he had every right to do what he felt would legally help his team.

Like he's said, he's paid to win. It's all transactional, at least all sides in BR aren't shy about admitting it.
