Remember Jim Hawthorne's family .

Guys...a lot of people give Mr. Hawthorne a great deal of grief. This man has given so much of his time to LSU for the past 30 years. Last week, Jim lost his brother to cancer. The wake was yesterday. Please consider not complaining about Jim's broadcasts this weekend. The family is grieving as to be expected. I appreciate the effort that Jim gives to his profession. Please show him some respect during this time. Thank you.

Jim is a good man. He makes mistakes but how would you like it if you had to call shitty basketball games ? He does three sports. I am sure he is tired. I think he needs to slow down although I don't know if he would have to take a pay cut for that or not.
